hshr plate astm a572 grade 50 is a high strength, low alloy steel plate that offers an optimum combination of strength, weldability and notch toughness with economy.
post-weld heat treatment of sa572 grade 50 may degrade heat-affected zone strength and toughness. Pretesting of specific welding and post-weld heat-treating procedures is suggested to assure perfection of final property levels.
