This pressure gauge operates using the Bourdon tube measuring principle. When pressure enters the gauge through the bottom connection, it is transmitted into a curved Bourdon tube inside the instrument.
As pressure increases, the Bourdon tube tends to straighten slightly due to elastic deformation. This movement is transferred through a precision gear mechanism that converts the tube displacement into rotational movement of the pointer across the dial scale. The pointer then displays the corresponding pressure value in real time. Bourdon tube technology remains one of the most reliable mechanical pressure measurement methods used in industrial instrumentation.
The glycerin filling minimizes pointer vibration caused by pulsating pressure and mechanical shock, ensuring stable and easy-to-read measurements.
