The ASTM A213 standard specifies requirements for ferritic and austenitic alloy steel seamless boilers, super heaters, and heat exchanger tubes. This specification provides manufacturers and users with comprehensive manufacturing and procurement requirements, including grade classification, size specifications, surface treatment, testing protocols, and other critical terms. The equivalent standard is ASME SA213.
ASTM A213 / ASME SA 213 TP 310S, TP 310H, TP 310, and EN 10216-5 1.4845 stainless steel pipes are engineered for high-temperature applications. With high chromium and nickel content, these pipes offer superior corrosion resistance, excellent oxidation resistance, and greater room temperature strength retention compared to common austenitic alloy 304.
310S stainless steel tube is an austenitic heat-resistant alloy that maintains excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures and mild cycling conditions up to 2100°F. The high chromium and nickel content provides comparable corrosion resistance, excellent oxidation resistance, and significant room temperature strength retention.
310S stainless steel is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel specifically designed for high-temperature applications. The elevated chromium and nickel content gives the steel exceptional oxidation resistance and high strength at elevated temperatures. This grade is also highly malleable and offers good weldability, making it suitable for diverse industrial applications.
