Stainless Steel Pipe Tube A312/A312M TP317 S31700 Used in furnace material
Stainless steel is classified as high alloy steel, containing approximately 4-30% chromium. Based on crystal structure, it is categorized into martensitic, austenitic, and ferritic steels. Grade 317 stainless steel represents an enhanced version of 316 stainless steel, offering superior strength and corrosion resistance.
Both 316 and 317 stainless steel plates contain molybdenum, with 317 having a slightly higher molybdenum content than 316. The presence of molybdenum enhances the overall performance compared to 310 and 304 stainless steels. In high-temperature conditions with sulfuric acid concentrations below 15% or above 85%, 316 stainless steel demonstrates extensive applicability.

Additional Specifications
1. Each pipe undergoes nondestructive electric testing or hydrostatic testing as per A999/A999M standard, with test selection at manufacturer's option unless specified in purchase order.
2. Pipe lengths from NPS 1/8" to NPS 8 are available up to 24ft (15-24ft range), with short lengths acceptable upon mutual agreement between manufacturer and purchaser.
3. Finished pipes must be reasonably straight with workmanlike finish. Imperfection removal by grinding is permitted provided wall thickness remains within A999/A999M Section 9 requirements.
4. Butt weld ends conform to ANSI B 16.25 specifications.
5. Pipe marking includes: Logo + Standard + Size + Heat No. + Lot No. + H.T/E.T/U.T as specified in A999/A999M.
6. Packaging includes plastic end caps, anti-rust steel strip bundling, and outer plastic woven bag or plastic film wrapping.
7. Packing marks indicate: Size + Steel Grade + Quantity of Pieces/Weight/Meter.
8. Official original MTC (Material Test Certificate) provided for each order.
