Wear plates are usually resistant to wear and abrasion that might occur over a period of time due to various factors. They are categorized into various grades. AR450 Wear Plate is one such grade that reduces the industrial wear in applications that may be caused due to rubbing, scraping, or erosion. The reduction of wear by AR450 Steel Plate leads to an increase in production time and reduction in downtime and maintenance cost. Ar450 Material consists of carbon and boron this unique composition provides it more surface hardness thereby maintaining good ductility, impact resistance, and formability. It has a high tensile and yield strength with a Brinell Hardness that is greater than 400 grade.
AR450 Wear Plate showcases minimal resistance to corrosion and excellent bending. However, machining or grinding of these plates is not recommended. Though the Ar450 Steel Price depends upon the thickness of the plate. When compared to the 400 grade the AR450 plate price is said to be exorbitant. One of the worlds leading abrasion resistant steel is the Hardox® 450 Plate. It is hard till the core. It wears slowly even under heavy mechanical load. It also provides higher resistance against chipping. They are widely used in grapples, garbage trucks, liner plates, prismatic knives, granulator knives, sieves, and hammer mills. Moreover, these ABREX 450 Steel Plates are also used in containers and conveyor belts.
Ar450 Steel Plate Equivalent can be used for the fragmentation of waste, rubber, cables, tires, and plastic. Shredders made using these plates offer higher resistance against cracking and cleavage. 450HB Steel Plates are passed through various tests to confirm the properties that it has inherited. Rockstar 450 Plate has good formability with the minimum effect of the hardness of the product. They are used in the mining and construction market. They also have a good surface finish. Xar 450 Steel on the other hand have good processability and can be cut as per the specific requirement of the customer. The molten steel is deoxidized before the production of these plates.
Typical plate widths are 2 m and 3 m but we also have a number of narrower plates and also at the 2.5 m level. Plate lengths are typically at 12 m for the thinner plates and this shortens as plate thickness increases. There is a wide range of plate sizes and choices allowing us to fulfill most RFQ directly from stock.
