34CrNiMo6/1.6582 alloy steel is a high-strength nickel-molybdenum alloy steel with excellent comprehensive mechanical properties. This material is commonly used in demanding applications requiring superior strength and durability.

Heat Treatment Guidelines
Forging
Preheat material carefully
Forging temperature: 1150-1200°C
Maintain temperature above 850°C during forging
Hardening & Tempering
Heat uniformly to 850°C
Quench in oil
Temper at 550°C for minimum 2 hours
Cool in furnace
For straightening: Temper at minimum 625°C after QT process
Annealing
Heat thoroughly to 800-850°C
Slow cool to 550°C
Complete annealing in air
Normalizing
Heat to 850°C
Cool to room temperature in air
