The round bars are made from ingots and are processed after giving required reduction ratio and discarding hot top and bottom for homogeneity. They are either processed by hot rolling or hot forging. These bars are further heat treated by

Quality Check of Round Bars
Following checks are conducted in round bars and reported in the TEST CERTIFICATE as per customer requirement
Surface inspection (Magnetic Particle Inspection) is carried out of each bar end to end
Positive Material Identification using XRF to certify in process chemistry of each bar
100%-dimensional verification using calibrated Vernier’s and Go No-Go gauges
Step down testing
Upset forging test
NMIR (Nonmetallic inclusion rating)
Macrostructure testing
Microstructure phase analysis
Grain Size
Ultrasonic Testing for internal defects
Radioactivity test
Gas analysis (O, N, H)

Minimum Order Quantity for Round Bars
Our batch size is a minimum of 5MT, so for common grades, we can do two nearby sizes in a total of 8.5MT, and in case of special grades, we require a single size minimum of 8.5MT.
