2205 duplex stainless steel strip is a high-performance alloy combining superior strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and cost-effectiveness. Its dual-phase microstructure (austenite + ferrite) provides enhanced mechanical properties compared to conventional stainless steels, making it ideal for demanding industrial applications.
Corrosion Resistance: Outstanding resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion.
High Strength: Double the yield strength of 316L or 304 stainless steels.
Cost-Efficient: Reduced material thickness requirements due to high strength.
Weldability: Excellent weldability with standard fusion methods.
