304L stainless steel plate is a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance and good processing properties. Its chemical composition mainly includes iron (Fe), chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), manganese (Mn) and silicon (Si), as well as small amounts of carbon (C), sulfur (S), phosphorus (P) and nitrogen (N).
Features 304L stainless steel plate is similar to 304 stainless steel in terms of corrosion resistance, but due to its lower carbon content (usually below 0.03%), 304L exhibits stronger resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding or stress relief. In addition, 304L stainless steel plate has good processing properties and weldability, is suitable for various processing methods such as stamping, bending, etc., and will not show heat treatment hardening phenomenon within the use temperature range (-196℃ to 800℃).
Application areas 304L stainless steel plate is widely used in occasions requiring high resistance to intergranular corrosion, such as chemical equipment, oil storage tanks, coal industry, marine equipment, and the manufacture of parts requiring heat-resistant parts and parts that are difficult to heat treat. Due to its good processing performance and corrosion resistance, 304L stainless steel plate has important applications in many industrial fields.
