ASTM A789 duplex stainless steel pipe is a high-performance piping material widely used in various industrial fields. It was formulated by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and defines the technical requirements for stainless steel seamless and welded steel pipes to ensure that these pipes can still show excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties in extreme environments.
Material properties
The ASTM A789 standard covers a range of stainless steel alloys, mainly including austenitic, duplex stainless steel and super austenitic stainless steel. The selection of these materials is based on their unique chemical composition and microstructure, and they can maintain excellent stability under harsh working conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, and highly corrosive media.
