ASTM A516 Gr.70 boiler plate is an excellent choice for service in lower than ambient temperature applications.
A516 Gr.70 boiler steel has excellent notch toughness and is used in both pressure vessels and industrial boilers.
ASTM A516 Gr.70 boiler plate contains manganese, phosphorus, sulfur and silicon at the highest levels allowed by
the ASTM. A516 Gr.70 boiler steel is a high strength metal, and it is easy to fabricate and can be securely welded.
ASTM A516 Gr.70 boiler plate also has good corrosion resistance.
