Welding

Grade 9 Ti-3Al-2.5V and Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V can both be welded using appropriate titanium welding procedures. However, titanium requires strict protection from atmospheric contamination during welding because oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen can adversely affect weld quality and mechanical properties.

Grade 9 Welding
