Galvanized after weld (GAW) or hot dip galvanized means that the materials are welded together and then the completed product is galvanized. GBW is more prone to corrosion. Whether GBW is suitable for your situation depends on the location you are planning to use the mesh and whether you plan to finish it with paint or other coatings.
