Role Of ASTM A179 Embedded G Type Fin Tube For Central Air Handling Units
ASTM A179 covers minimum-wall-thickness, seamless cold-drawn low-carbon steel tubes for tubular heat exchangers, condensers, and similar heat transfer apparatus.Due to their excellent thermal conductivity, mechanical properties, and cost-effectiveness,these tubes are highly preferred for making fin tubes.
A179 is a thin-walled cold-drawn seamless pipe with a thin wall and a smooth inner diameter. This significantly reduces the thermal resistance on the water side (inside the pipe), thereby enabling an extremely high heat exchange efficiency between the refrigerant and the water. This is the fundamental reason for its excellent energy efficiency performance.
The outstanding resistance to water corrosion and reliability are the most crucial advantages of A179 pipes in air conditioning systems. The most important aspect is that A179 offers a more cost-effective solution compared to stainless steel pipes, and its performance is far superior to that of ordinary carbon steel pipes.
