1.ASME SA179 G Type Embedded Fin Tube


ASME SA179 is a standard specification for seamless cold-drawn low-carbon steel tubes specifically designed for heat exchanger and boiler applications. The "G Type Embedded Fin Tube" refers to a high-efficiency heat transfer component fabricated by embedding fin strips into the outer surface of ASME SA179 seamless base tubes through mechanical rolling or extrusion. Its core characteristics lie in the low-carbon steel base material (ensuring excellent formability and thermal conductivity) and the G-type embedded fin structure (realizing tight combination between fins and base tube, low contact thermal resistance). It fulfills the demand for efficient, reliable and cost-effective heat exchange in medium-low temperature scenarios, and is a mainstream component in civilian and industrial low-pressure heat exchange systems.

 

ASME SA179 G Type Embedded Fin Tube is a high-efficiency, cost-effective heat transfer product, specially designed for medium-low temperature (≤300℃) heat exchange environments, widely used in air conditioners, refrigeration equipment, and industrial low-pressure condensers.

4.ASME SA179 G Type Embedded Fin Tube vs. Similar Products


SA179 G Type vs. SA179 L Type Embedded Fin Tube: G-type embedded fins feature a "U-shaped" cross-section with deeper embedding depth and larger contact area with the base tube, resulting in better heat transfer efficiency and anti-vibration performance, suitable for dynamic fluid heat exchange scenarios. L-type fins have a "L-shaped" structure, simpler processing, lower cost, and are applicable to static or low-flow rate heat exchange environments.

 

② SA179 G Type vs. SA210 A1 G Type Embedded Fin Tube: SA179 is low-carbon steel with excellent formability and thermal conductivity (thermal conductivity ≥50W/(m·K)), but lower high-temperature strength (suitable for ≤300℃). SA210 A1 is medium-carbon steel with higher high-temperature strength (applicable to ≤450℃), but lower thermal conductivity and formability. The former is more cost-effective for medium-low temperature scenarios, while the latter is used for medium-high temperature working conditions.
