Heat Treatment (Required by ASTM A213)
All T11 tubes must be furnished in one of the following heat-treated conditions:
Fully annealed – Heat to 855–900°C (1570–1650°F), cool in furnace.
Isothermal annealed – Heat to 845–900°C (1550–1650°F), cool to 705–745°C (1300–1375°F), hold, then air cool.
Normalized and tempered – Normalize at 900–960°C (1650–1760°F), then temper at 620–760°C (1150–1400°F).
