This extruded bimetallic finned tube combines a corrosion-resistant stainless steel core with a high-purity aluminum fin layer, engineered for applications demanding both mechanical strength under pressure and superior thermal dissipation. The construction consists of a seamless or welded inner tube manufactured to EN 10217-7, using grade 1.4307 (304L) stainless steel, over which an Al1060 aluminum sleeve is mechanically cold-formed into integral spiral fins.
The extrusion process creates a monolithic fin structure with consistent metallurgical contact across the entire tube length. Unlike mechanically attached fins, this method eliminates interface resistance and provides long-term stability under thermal cycling.
