ASTM A179 Carbon Steel Embedded G Fin Tubes For Air Cooled Condensers ACC
ASTM A179 seamless carbon steel G-type finned tubes utilize ASTM A179 cold-drawn seamless low-carbon steel tubes as the base pipe. Through a mechanical embedding process, metal fins are inserted into a spiral G-shaped groove on the outer wall of the tube and secured in place. The enhanced heat transfer efficiency of G-type finned tubes facilitates compact equipment design. The mechanical embedding process increases surface friction, preventing the fins from detaching under conditions of vibration or thermal cycling.
