*TP316L (UNS S31603) is low-carbon molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel compliant with ASTM A269, the standard for seamless & welded austenitic stainless tubing for heat exchange and corrosive service.
Low carbon content (≤0.030%): Effectively prevents intergranular sensitization after high-frequency welding; no post-weld heat treatment required to avoid intergranular corrosion.
Molybdenum alloying (2.0–3.0%): Delivers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion in chloride-containing media, flue gas condensate, seawater, brine and weak acid environments, far exceeding TP304/304L.
Uniform passive chromium oxide film provides stable oxidation resistance at continuous high operating temperatures up to 870°C.Consistent metallurgical property between base tube and solid fins (same 316L material), eliminating galvanic corrosion risk at fin-tube joint.

*High-frequency resistance welding forms a metallurgical bond between solid fins and ASTM A269 TP316L base tube without filler metal:
Minimized contact thermal resistance: No gaps between fin root and tube surface; stable heat transfer efficiency throughout service life (no efficiency decay caused by loose fins).
Narrow heat-affected zone during instantaneous HF welding, avoiding over-annealing and softening of the ASTM A269 TP316L substrate.
High bonding strength; solid fins resist deformation, abrasion and thermal cyclic loosening compared with mechanically wrapped fin tubes.
Continuous solid fin structure, easy to clean ash and sediments; applicable for fouling-prone waste heat recovery systems.

*The actual fins can significantly increase the external heat exchange area and greatly enhance the overall heat transfer coefficient, helping heat exchangers, air coolers and waste heat recovery equipment achieve compact structural designs. The tubes and fins are made of the same 316L material, ensuring uniform and stable heat conduction performance of the entire finned tube bundle.

*The applicable temperature range is wide and the service life is long. When subjected to frequent thermal cycling conditions, the mechanical properties and anti-corrosion performance remain stable. It has excellent low-temperature toughness and can be applied simultaneously in low-temperature cooling and high-temperature waste heat recovery scenarios. In corrosive industrial environments such as chemical, marine, food and beverage industries, power plant flue gas recovery, etc., the total life cycle cost is lower.
