Overview of Embedded Finned Tubes for Air Coolers

This product uses ASME SA179 seamless carbon steel tubes as the base tube material and AL1060 aluminum as the embedded fin material, providing an effective combination of thermal conductivity, mechanical strength, and corrosion resistance.

The embedded fin structure is manufactured by machining grooves on the outer surface of the base tube and mechanically inserting aluminum fins into the grooves. This process creates a strong mechanical bond between the tube and fins, improving heat transfer efficiency while maintaining reliable performance under continuous operating conditions.

ASME SA179 is a commonly selected material for heat exchanger tubing due to its excellent thermal conductivity, smooth surface finish, and suitability for low and medium temperature heat transfer applications. AL1060 aluminum fins offer high thermal conductivity and lightweight characteristics, making this combination suitable for air cooler applications where efficient heat dissipation is required.

High Heat Transfer Performance
