Our custom ASTM A335 P9 solid finned tubes fitted with 11% chromium solid fins are engineered specifically for extreme working scenarios featuring sustained high temperature, elevated internal pressure and corrosive flue gas environments. Combining pressure-resistant alloy seamless base pipe and corrosion-proof chromium alloy fins, this dual-material composite heat exchange tube solves the common points including fin root cracking, thermal mismatch failure and rapid surface oxidation faced by ordinary carbon steel fin tubes in heavy-duty industrial heating systems.

 

1. Base Tube: ASTM A335 P9 Seamless Ferritic Alloy Steel Pipe

(1) Chemical Composition

The composition is defined by specific ranges and maximums for alloying elements that provide high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance.

2. Outer Fin: Integral 11Cr Solid Alloy Steel Fins

The outer spiral solid fins are produced from 11-13% chromium ferritic alloy strip, a cost-effective high-temperature corrosion-resistant material optimized for boiler flue gas and furnace waste gas conditions. Compared with regular carbon steel fins and 304 stainless steel fins, 11Cr fins achieve perfect thermal expansion matching with P9 alloy base tubes, which drastically reduces alternating thermal stress at the fin-tube welding joint during frequent temperature changes.
