ASTM B111 UNS C68700 aluminum brass tube, also designated CuZn20Al2 (CuZn20Al2As in EN 12451 / JIS H3300 C6870 / BS 2871 CN110 nomenclature), is a seamless copper–zinc–aluminum alloy heat exchanger tube engineered for continuous duty in aggressive cooling-water service. Its nominal chemistry of approximately 76–79% copper, 1.8–2.5% aluminum and a controlled arsenic addition of 0.02–0.06% to inhibit dezincification allows the alloy to develop a thin, self-repairing aluminum oxide film across both the inner and outer surfaces, which gives it outstanding resistance to seawater, brackish water, chloride-bearing cooling media and impingement attack at elevated flow velocities. We can supply ASTM B111/ASME SB111 copper alloy tube with different temper such as O60 annealed, H55 light drawn, H80 hard drawn.
