ASTM A312 TP347 Serrated Spiral High-Frequency Welding (HFW) Finned Tube is an advanced heat transfer solution for extreme oxidation and creep resistance. It combines a seamless stabilized austenitic stainless steel base tube (ASTM A312 TP347) with helically wound serrated spiral fins bonded via high-frequency resistance welding. The serrated fin edges disrupt boundary layers, enhancing heat transfer by 35% vs. smooth fins, while the Nb-stabilized alloy resists intergranular corrosion up to 870°C (1,598°F). Ideal for high-ash flue gases and cyclic thermal shock services.
