FAQ
When should my factory upgrade to an L-Type positioner instead of a standard rotary table?
If your team is welding long, awkward, or tall assemblies (like excavator arms, large pipe spools, or heavy equipment frames), a standard flat table will force the workpiece into the floor when tilted 90 degrees. The L-shape design provides necessary clearance to tilt and spin parts freely without floor interference.
Why is the optional vertical lifting function highly recommended?
It completely transforms operator workflow. Without it, parts must be loaded high in the air. With the lifting feature, operators lower the table to ground level for safe bolting of heavy parts, then raise the entire assembly to comfortable welding height. This saves crane time and dramatically improves shop-floor safety.
How does the machine handle heavy, off-center (eccentric) loads?
The HBE series uses heavy-duty gear reducers with a strong self-locking function. Even during power loss with eccentric loads tilted, the table freezes in place and will not back-drive or drop the load. For massive eccentricity, units can be upgraded to double-drive devices for extra torque.
Does the positioner come with a chuck or clamping tools?
The table comes standard with heavy-duty radial T-slots machined directly into the faceplate for using standard T-bolts and custom jigs. For welding pipes or flanges, 3-jaw or 4-jaw welding chucks can be easily attached to the worktable.
Can this positioner integrate directly with an automated welding manipulator?
Yes. The control cabinet is designed to interface with existing automation systems. You can synchronize the table's stepless rotation with your Column and Boom welding torch to execute perfect, continuous circular welds without manual stopping.
