Model Selection Guide
A1 Thin Wire Tractor: Specifically engineered for thin-plate submerged arc welding. Runs a narrower 2-3mm wire and pairs perfectly with 630A power sources (like ZD5-630) to prevent burn-through on lighter structural components.
A2 Standard Tractor: The workshop workhorse designed for standard thick-wire SAW applications (3-5mm wire). Features a highly stable four-wheel drive system and 6-degree-of-freedom adjustment for precise welding angle control.
A4 Super Small Size Tractor: Compact design for internal pipe welding. Minimized control box, column, boom, and wire coil fit inside steel cylinders with diameters of 600mm or larger for internal longitudinal and lathe welding.

Does the A6 model come ready for twin-wire (tandem) welding?
Yes. The A6 is mechanically reinforced to carry the extra weight and wire spools required for tandem welding. Using a double-wire setup allows you to dramatically speed up your welding process on very thick steel plates.
How small of a pipe can the A4 tractor fit into?
The A4 is stripped down and compacted specifically for internal welds. It requires a minimum internal cylinder diameter of 600mm to operate effectively and safely.
Do I need to buy a specific power source for these tractors?
These tractors are designed to integrate seamlessly with standard industrial SAW power sources. For optimal performance, we recommend pairing them with our ZD5 inverter series (such as the ZD5-1000 for the A2, A4, and A6 models).
