Material: All caps have stainless steel 10, 12, or 14 gauge speed washer securely inserted into the dome. Self-locking washers are also available with Black or White coated finish. Depending on the application; when using with weld pins we recommend that a washer should be used along with the dome cap for better security of the insulation. The dome cap pushes on approximately 1/8". It is mainly used for cosmetic and safety purpose.
