This product is a flat countersunk square neck bolt manufactured to DIN 11015:1995-10, specifically designed for agricultural machinery applications. The bolt features a flat countersunk head (flush-mounting design) with a short square neck directly beneath the head. Thread sizes from M6 to M12, lengths from 16 mm to 50 mm. Available in carbon steel property classes 8.8 and 10.9, with surface finishes including plain (uncoated), zinc plating, and hot-dip galvanizing. Primarily used for fixating exchangeable soil-working equipment on agricultural implements such as ploughs, cultivators, and harrows.
The bolt is defined by its nominal thread diameter d ranging from M6 to M12 with metric coarse pitch threads per ISO 261. The flat countersunk head features a countersunk angle of 90° (standard for flush countersinking), with maximum head diameter (dk max.) of 19.65 mm for M10 and 32 mm for M16. The short square neck length is proportionally shorter than standard square neck bolts, optimised for thin-section attachments in agricultural equipment. The square neck width (fn max.) is 8.45 mm for M10 and 13.5 mm for M16. Thread lengths (b min.) for M10×30 mm bolts are 26 mm.
Property class 8.8 requires minimum tensile strength of 800 MPa and yield strength of 640 MPa per DIN EN ISO 898-1. Property class 10.9 offers higher strength with minimum tensile of 1040 MPa and yield of 900 MPa. Surface finishes: plain (uncoated) for indoor or protected assemblies; zinc plating (5–12 μm) for basic corrosion resistance; hot-dip galvanizing (40–80 μm) per DIN EN ISO 10684 for outdoor agricultural exposure. Bolts are typically supplied with hexagon nuts to DIN EN ISO 4032 (property class 8 or 10) and hardened washers where specified.
