Overview
Corrugated tube as a flexible pressure-resistant pipe fittings installed in the liquid conveying system, to compensate for the mutual displacement of pipelines or machines, equipment joints, to absorb vibration energy, can play a role in vibration damping, sound dampening, etc., with good flexibility, light quality, corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, high and low temperature resistance and many other characteristics.
Metal bellows stiffness so that the metal bellows or other elastic components to produce a unit of displacement required load value is called the component stiffness, generally expressed in "K". If the elastic properties of the component is non-linear, the stiffness is no longer a constant, but changes with the increase in load. Nominal stiffness elastic element design calculation is given when the stiffness is called nominal (or rated) stiffness. It has an error with the measured stiffness of the component, especially the elastic element with non-linear elastic properties. Nominal stiffness represents the stiffness of which point on the curve, it is necessary to consider carefully. In general, it is better not to use the design calculation value directly for the nominal stiffness, but should use the corrected value of the product prototype after the test. Stiffness tolerance for a batch of elastic components tested stiffness allowed dispersion range. For the same batch of flexible components, stainless steel metal hose stiffness of each component are not the same, there is a range of dispersion. In order to ensure the performance of the components, it is necessary to have a limit on the dispersion of stiffness. Elastic sensitive components, the stiffness tolerance requirements are limited to the nominal value of + / - 5%; general engineering bellows type elastic components, stiffness tolerance can be limited to + / - 50%.
