Overview
ASTM B535 is a standard specification that covers the requirements for Nickel-Iron-Chromium-Silicon Alloys (UNS N08330 and UNS N08332) in the form of hot-worked, cold-worked, or annealed sheets, plates, bars, forgings, and seamless pipes.
The N08330 alloy is a high-nickel, high-chromium iron-based alloy, also known as Alloy 330 or Incoloy 330. It belongs to the austenitic stainless steel family and has excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization at high temperatures. The alloy is commonly used in applications involving thermal processing, heat-treating equipment, industrial furnaces, and chemical processing plants. It offers good strength and thermal stability at elevated temperatures, making it suitable for use in harsh environments.
