ASTM B163 N04400 is a standard specification for seamless nickel and nickel alloy condenser and heat-exchanger tubes. This specification covers tubes made from nickel-copper alloy UNS N04400, also known as Monel 400.The ASTM B163 N04400 specification covers tubes in sizes ranging from 1/8 inch to 3 inches (3.2 to 76.2 mm) in outside diameter and from 0.015 inch to 0.148 inch (0.38 to 3.76 mm) in wall thickness. The tubes are intended for use in condensers and heat exchangers for general corrosion-resisting and low or high-temperature service.
