A stainless steel capillary tube is a long, fixed-length tube with a very small diameter which is installed between the condenser and the evaporator. The capillary tube actually meters the refrigerant from the condenser to the evaporator. Because of its long length and small diameter, there is associated fluid friction and pressure drop as refrigerant flows through it. Stainless Steel Medical Capillary Tubes are characterized by tight tolerances, and the inside surface of the tubes is free from oil, grease and other particles. This ensures, for example, an optimized and even flow of liquids and gases from the sensor to the measuring instrument.
