These fittings include elbows, tees, reducers, and caps, and are manufactured from seamless or welded materials, followed by heat treatment to ensure strength and toughness. They are typically used with API 5L X60 pipelines, providing reliable performance under demanding conditions such as long-distance transmission lines and compressor stations.
In short, A860 WPHY60 fittings are chosen for their high strength, durability, and suitability for critical pipeline service where standard carbon steel fittings (like A234 WPB) are not strong enough.
