Overview
The addition of Fe and Mn in C70600 alloy greatly improves the corrosion resistance of this material. In clean seawater, the water flow rate accepted by this alloy can reach 2.2-2.5%/s, and the maximum acceptable speed in micro salt solution can reach 4m/s. This alloy can avoid stress corrosion cracking and high temperature point nickel removal. Therefore, this alloy has good corrosion resistance to clean or polluted seawater and river bay water, and is widely used in power plants, desalination On heat exchangers using seawater in petrochemical factories and other industries
Pure copper and nickel can significantly improve strength, corrosion resistance, hardness, resistance, and thermoelectric properties, while reducing the temperature coefficient of electrical resistivity. Therefore, compared to other copper alloys, white copper has exceptionally good mechanical and physical properties, good ductility, high hardness, beautiful color, corrosion resistance, and deep drawing performance. Properties of C70600(90Ni/10Cu)
Copper Nickel alloy is moderately formalble as compared to aluminium and Stainless steels. Many cupro nickel compionents are fabricated by simple bending methods.
