Overview
ASTM A182 F316L Flange the low carbon version of 316 and is immune from sensitisation (grain boundary carbide precipitation). Thus it is extensively used in heavy gauge welded components (over about 6mm). Grade 316H, with its higher carbon content has application at elevated temperatures, as does stabilised grade 316Ti. The austenitic structure also gives these grades excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures.
ASTM A182 F316L Flanges Are Perfect For Application In Manifold Industry For Excessive Pressure And Temperature Applications. The additions of Molybdenum and Nickel gives it exceptional sub zero notch ductility, superior to other standard 410, 13 Cr, and 420 Mod martensitic Stainless Steel. ASME SA 182 F316L Material is air hardening, with little risk of cracking of thick sections at the time of heat treatment. YUHONG produce special size and custom shape A182 F316L Stainless steel Flanges for our customers. The Mo gives Stainless Steel 316L Slip On Flanges better overall corrosion resistant properties than Grade 304.
Stainless Steel Blind Flange is a type of pipe fitting that is made up of stainless steel. There are different types of flanges made out of different material grades. The material grades correspond to the mechanical properties of the flanges. The blind flange is a special type of flange in that it does not connect two pieces of pipes together but it ends the connection at one end of the pipe. The BLRF Flanges are raised face blind flanges.
Raised faces enable the flanges fit for other raised face components with bolting for temporary sealing or by welding for permanent sealing of pipes. The ASME B16.5 blind flange belongs to the range of ½ inches to 24 inches diameter flanges. There are pressure classes ranging from 150 to 2500 in this standard.
