ASTM A312 TP321/321H is a grade of austenitic stainless steel seamless pipe renowned for its exceptional resistance to high temperatures and corrosion. The key differentiator of this grade is the addition of Titanium (Ti), which stabilizes the material against carbide precipitation during welding or exposure to high temperatures (450-850°C), thereby preventing intergranular corrosion. The "H" designation in TP321H indicates a higher carbon content variant, specifically engineered for applications where creep and stress rupture properties are critical at elevated temperatures.
This pipe is manufactured according to the ASTM A312/A312M standard, which covers seamless, welded, and heavily cold-worked austenitic stainless steel pipes intended for high-temperature and general corrosive service.

The TP321 grade is a Ni-Cr-Ti type austenitic stainless steel. Titanium binds with carbon preferentially over chromium, preventing the formation of chromium carbides at grain boundaries and ensuring excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion. It offers superior high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance compared to standard 304 stainless steel.
