The ASTM A269 TP316L Seamless Coil Tube is a continuous-length, hollow section of stainless steel manufactured without a welded seam, wound into a coil for efficient storage, transport, and processing.Stainless steel 316L seamless coil tubes are widely used for oil & gas plant, automotive, aerospace, heat exchangers, condensers, food processing plant, instruments production, medical devices, etc. YUHONG GROUP has manufactured stainless steel tubes for more than 35 years. Our stainless steel tubes can be in welded type or seamless type, and can also be coiled or straightened.
Regular Sizes:
Outside Diameter (OD): Commonly ranges from 1/8" (3.18 mm) to 1/2" (12.7 mm).
Wall Thickness: Common walls range from 0.020" (0.51 mm) to 0.083" (2.11 mm). Thinner walls are more common for coiling.
Length: The length can vary from 150 meters to over 600 meters or more in a single, continuous coil.

Excellent Corrosion Resistance: TP316L offers superior corrosion resistance compared to 304/L grades, thanks to the addition of Molybdenum (2-3%). This provides enhanced resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion from chlorides and various acids, making it ideal for harsh chemical and marine environments.
High Strength and Pressure Integrity: The seamless manufacturing process results in a homogeneous grain structure around the tube's circumference, providing uniform mechanical properties and higher pressure ratings than an equivalent welded tube.
No Weld Seam: Eliminates the risk of weld defects, contamination, and the heat-affected zone, which is often the weakest point for corrosion attack in welded tubes.
Formability and Bendability: In the annealed condition, 316L is ductile and can be readily bent and formed without cracking, which is essential for routing complex coil-based systems.
Continuous Length (Coil Form): Drastically reduces the number of fittings and connections required in an assembly, lowering installation time, labor costs, and potential leak points.
