Product Description

1. Introduction & Standard Specification
This product refers to seamless U-bend tubes made from TP321 austenitic stainless steel, manufactured in strict compliance with the ASTM A213/A213M standard. This specification is the global benchmark for seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy-steel tubes designed for critical service in boilers, superheaters, and heat exchangers.

The "U-bend" geometry is engineered to absorb thermal expansion within the heat exchanger, reducing stress on the tube sheets and shell. The TP321 grade is specifically stabilized with titanium to prevent carbide precipitation during high-temperature exposure, making it ideal for intermittent heating in the range of 427°C to 816°C.

TP321 is a titanium-stabilized evolution of the classic 304 stainless steel. The addition of titanium (Ti) is its defining characteristic, which combines with carbon to prevent the formation of chromium carbides at grain boundaries. This imparts exceptional resistance to intergranular corrosion, particularly after welding or exposure to high temperatures, a common failure point in heat exchanger applications.
