ASME SB163 N08810 (Alloy 800H) seamless tubes are engineered for high-temperature and high-pressure service where resistance to oxidation, carburization, and creep rupture is the primary requirement.

Oxidation Resistance: The high chromium content (19-23%) forms a stable, protective chromium oxide (Cr₂O₃) scale that resists spalling and protects the base metal from further oxidation in air or steam.Carburization Resistance: Resists the absorption of carbon in hydrocarbon-rich, high-temperature environments (e.g., furnace tubes), which can cause embrittlement and failure in other alloys.Sulfidation Resistance: Moderate resistance to sulfur-bearing atmospheres.
