1. Common Outer Diameters (OD): 1/2" (12.7 mm), 3/4" (19.05 mm), 1" (25.4 mm), 1.5" (38.1 mm), 2" (50.8 mm), 2.5" (63.5 mm), 3" (76.2 mm), 4" (101.6 mm).
2. Common Wall Thickness (Schedule):
Schedule 5S: A thin wall (e.g., 0.065" for 1" tube). Common for low-pressure product lines.
Schedule 10S: The most common standard wall (e.g., 0.083" for 1" tube). Balances strength, flow, and cleanability.
Other schedules (40S, 80S) are available for higher-pressure utility lines.
3. Standard Lengths: Typically supplied in 20’ (6.1 meters) random lengths. Precise cut lengths (e.g., 3m, 6m) are also available to minimize welds and waste during fabrication.
