These large coils aren't designed for ordinary equipment; they're often crucial components of large, core industrial equipment.
For example, the cracking/converter furnaces in giant refineries or petrochemical plants are like large chemical plants, with internal tubing requiring hundreds or even thousands of meters to carry high-temperature, high-pressure feed gas. Prefabricating such long pipes into one or several massive coils is the most efficient and reliable method.
Large-scale steam methane reforming hydrogen production units are key equipment for hydrogen production. Their core components are composed of massive coils of TP310S alloy steel pipe, which carry out chemical reactions at high temperatures.
