An intravenous indwelling needle tube is an important component of an intravenous (IV) catheter assembly. It is a precision-manufactured, disposable stainless steel needle tube which is mainly designed to pierce the skin and blood vessel to facilitate the placement of a flexible plastic cannula. Once the IV cannula is in place, this IV indwelling needle tube is withdrawn and discarded, leaving the IV cannula for intravenous therapy. Intravenous indwelling needle tubes are made by SUS304 medical grade material, known for its excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, biocompatibility, and good formability.
