This specification covers welded, cold-worked, or solution-annealed pipes intended for general corrosion-resistant applications. Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy with the addition of tungsten, renowned for its exceptional resistance to a wide range of aggressive chemicals, pitting, stress-corrosion cracking, and oxidizing atmospheres. It is widely used in chemical processing, petrochemical industry, oil & gas plant, pollution control, power generation, and marine applications owing to its immunity to stress corrosion cracking and pitting.
