Bundy Tube, also known as Bundy Tubing or Copper Brazed Steel Tube, is a specialized type of double-walled (or occasionally single-walled) steel tubing manufactured by roll-forming a low-carbon steel strip into a tubular shape, then copper brazing the seam and, in the case of double-wall, the layers together. The BHG2 refers to a specific grade and temper standard (often aligned with automotive or hydraulic requirements) indicating the steel's chemical composition, mechanical properties, and the quality of the copper braze joint. It is widely recognized as the industry standard for fluid and gas conveyance in space-constrained, high-integrity systems.
