This ASME SB171 C70600 ring is a heavy-duty annular forging with dimensions of OD 1464mm × ID 1277mm × thickness 132mm. It is engineered for use as an integral tubesheet ring, shell-to-tubesheet transition ring, or reinforcing ring in large seawater-cooled heat exchangers, power plant condensers, and offshore platform coolers.

Manufactured from 90/10 copper-nickel alloy (C70600), this ring offers exceptional resistance to seawater corrosion, erosion, and biofouling while providing the mechanical strength required for high-pressure and large-diameter applications.

• Forged or Rolled Construction: For a ring of this thickness (132mm), we typically start from forged or rolled plate or a hollow forging to ensure uniform grain structure and freedom from porosity.

• Tube Hole Drilling for Tubesheet Rings: If the ring serves as the tubesheet, the drilling pattern and groove profile must be precisely machined to TEMA standards.
• Corrosion Allowance: Even with C70600's excellent corrosion resistance, a minimum corrosion allowance of 1.5-3mm is recommended for long-life seawater service (20+ years).
