ASTM A179 embedded fin tubes with Al1060 fins are mainly used for heat recovery in HRSG equipment. The base pipe is made of seamless ASTM A179 carbon steel, which has stable thermal conductivity and favorable cost. It also performs well in bearing pressure and temperature changes during operation. High-purity Al1060 aluminum fins are embedded on the tube surface through mechanical processes, ensuring a zero-clearance mechanical bond.
This structure greatly enlarges the heat exchange area and improves heat recovery efficiency for medium-temperature flue gas. The Al1060 material also provides good corrosion resistance, reducing wear and oxidation caused by flue gas. Meanwhile, the carbon steel base tube can safely hold high-pressure water and steam. With stable performance, high heat exchange efficiency and low operation cost, this fin tube is a practical and economical option for both industrial and power plant HRSG systems.

● Thermal Cycling Resistance:Our embedded bond handles frequent start-stop cycles far better than soldered/wrapped fins, delivering consistent performance.
● Economizer Sections: Preheating feedwater by stripping maximum energy from cooler exhaust gases.
● Low-Pressure (LP) Evaporators: Driving phase-change efficiency in low-pressure steam circuits.
● Waste Heat Recovery Units (WHRU): Bridging the gap between gas turbine exhaust and process heating in the 200–350°C range.
● District Heating: Providing long-term reliability in outdoor heat exchange networks where aluminum’s natural oxide layer resists atmospheric corrosion.
