ASME SA249 TP304 Bright Annealed Stainless Steel Welded Tube For Refrigeration System
ASME SA249 TP304 stainless steel welded Tube is a high-precision, longitudinally welded stainless steel tube specifically designed and manufactured for use in critical heat exchange and fluid conveyance applications, most notably in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. It conforms to the ASME SA249/ASTM A249 specification, which is the standard for welded austenitic steel boiler, superheater, heat-exchanger, and condenser tubes. ASTM A249 TP304 Stainless steel bright annealed tubes have different polished grades, such as 180#, 320#, 400#, 600#, 800# grit. In refrigeration systems (including chillers, condensers, evaporators, and direct expansion coils), these tubes serve as the essential conduit for refrigerants or water/brine. The combination of TP304 stainless steel (offering excellent corrosion resistance, toughness, and weldability) with the bright annealed finish creates a tube that is inherently clean, resistant to oxidation, and has a low surface roughness that minimizes pressure drop and inhibits scale/bacterial adhesion. This makes it superior to plain carbon steel or non-annealed welded tubes in terms of longevity, efficiency, and system purity.
