Preventing Tube-Tubesheet Joint Leakage: Ensure tube ends are properly expanded into double-grooved tubesheet holes. For high-pressure or toxic service, always specify seal-welding or strength-welding combined with hydraulic expansion.
Mitigating Flow-Induced Vibration (FIV): In high-velocity gas lines, improperly spaced baffles can cause tube collision and fretting wear. Incorporate impinement plates near inlet nozzles or adjust baffle pitch to protect the outer heat exchanger tube rows.
