ASTM A268 TP410 stainless steel tube is produced via hot rolling or cold drawing processes and is widely used in environments where a combination of high tensile strength and resistance to oxidation is required. TP410 grade is a martensitic stainless steel (UNS S41000, EN1.4006) known for its high mechanical strength, moderate corrosion resistance, and excellent scaling resistance at elevated temperatures. The ASTM A268/ASME SA268 specification covers both seamless and welded tubing, while TP410 seamless tubes dominate high-pressure and high-temperature industrial scenarios due to superior structural uniformity and pressure resistance.
