Introduction
Our API 660 Shell and Tube Kettle Reboiler is designed for reliable heat transfer and vaporization duties in petroleum refining, petrochemical, chemical processing and related industrial applications. As a shell and tube heat exchanger, the kettle reboiler provides efficient heating of process fluids while maintaining stable operation under demanding temperature and pressure conditions.
The kettle-type configuration features a shell-side boiling chamber with a tube bundle, allowing the process fluid to be heated and partially vaporized. The design can be engineered according to specific process requirements, including heat duty, operating temperature, operating pressure, fluid properties and allowable pressure drop.
