WNRF (Weld Neck Raised Face) -- The long tapered hub provides reinforcement against high pressure and extreme thermal cycling. The raised face (typically 0.06" or 0.25" height per ASME B16.5) ensures gasket compression. While this flange is nominally a forged, solid‑solution strengthened Ni‑Cr‑Mo component (with niobium addition) manufactured to ASTM B564, its real‑world performance is governed by subtleties that experienced engineers recognise but are seldom printed in catalogues. Corrosion Resistance (Key Advantages)
